Microchip Fabrication of PDMS Scaffolds for Tissue Growth (Internship at UNIST)

As a research intern (IAESTE/SPIKE) in the FRUITS Lab, I worked in prof. Cho Yoon Kyoung’s Lab during the summer of 2015. I was trained to fabricate PDMS chips in different surface topologies to test the affect of topology on cell confluency. I was trained to perform cell cultures and cloning. I used confocal microscopy to take different images of the grown cells and measure confluency by measuring different cell growth parameters. The cells used were fibroblast cells from mice.
